Community Block Party 2018

https://vimeo.com/309550918

On Saturday, October 13, 2018 from 12-6 pm, The Women’s Building will hold our third annual community block party–join us on West 20th Street and 10th Avenue in Chelsea! Bringing together local residents, fellow organizations, activists, business leaders, and community members, this event will celebrate girls and women everywhere, while showcasing the effort to transform Bayview Correctional Facility into The Women’s Building. We invite everyone to join us and help us imagine the future of this new space that will serve as the home of the global girls’ and women’s rights movement.

This promises to be a party to remember, featuring plenty of food and drink for purchase, games, community art projects, live performances, and more. Last year’s event had an incredible turnout with hundreds of attendees, and we expect to have an even bigger turnout this year. We hope to see you there!
